Wayne currently serves as Executive Director and Lead Counsel for Ready Capital’s Small Business group. With more than a decade of legal experience, Wayne has assisted dozens of lenders with structuring, documenting, and closing more than a thousand SBA loans and other commercial lending transactions.

Prior to joining Ready Capital, Wayne represented commercial lenders in private practice at Jellum Law, a boutique SBA lending law firm, Fredrikson & Byron, a full-service international law firm, and Johnson Bealka, a boutique SBA lending law firm. Earlier in his career, Wayne served as in-house counsel for 21st Century Bank in Minneapolis, MN. Wayne earned his Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Seattle Pacific University.
