John Sokolovic

John Sokolovic is Managing Director at Ready Capital and was the founder of Red Stone LLC (now Ready Capital). Mr. Sokolovic has over 30 years of experience in affordable housing finance and founded Red Stone in 2002.

Prior to founding Red Stone, Mr. Sokolovic was Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Credit Re Mortgage Capital and its predecessor, CentRe Mortgage Capital. These two firms were affiliates of The Related Companies, where Mr. Sokolovic was employed for 16 years. Prior to joining Related, Mr. Sokolovic was with the accounting firm of Kenneth Leventhal & Company.

Mr. Sokolovic is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Economics.
