Matthew Hillyer

Matthew Hillyer has close to 20 years of experience in credit and risk management and at Ready Capital, he serves as Chief Credit Officer, Agency.

Mr. Hillyer started his career as an Analyst in JPMorganChase’s Commercial Real Estate business where he spent over seven years in progressive credit and leadership roles. He joined Ready Capital in 2014 as a Credit Manager to lead the credit team for the newly-approved Freddie Mac SBL platform, eventually moving into his current role as Chief Credit Officer.

Mr. Hillyer has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.S. in Management from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.
