Sonny Ko

Sonny Ko serves as Chief Production Officer at ReadyCap Lending, LLC, where he leads the company’s nationwide production efforts, overseeing all origination channels and driving strategic growth initiatives. Previously, he led Pacific Northwest small business lending originations, establishing a strong regional presence and consistently delivering top-tier performance.

With over 30 years of experience spanning sales, credit lending, financial services, and investments, Sonny brings deep industry expertise and a proven ability to scale high-performing production platforms. He has a distinguished track record of building and leading teams, optimizing credit strategy, and expanding market share.

Prior to joining Ready Capital, Sonny was the top Managing Producer within a division of Credit Suisse for seven consecutive years. He also co-founded the largest SBA 7(a) lending firm in the Pacific Northwest by volume, demonstrating his entrepreneurial leadership and deep knowledge of the SBA lending landscape.

Sonny holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from Oregon State University.
