Cody Langeness

Cody is Head of the Affordable Multifamily Team at Ready Capital. He is responsible for all Affordable Multifamily platforms where Ready Capital’s tax-exempt and taxable bond funds are managed.

He was employed by Red Stone LLC (now Ready Capital) for more than 15 years, a tenure which included responsibilities for origination, underwriting, structuring, and closing of multifamily debt and equity investments representing deployed investor capital in excess of $4 billion. As President of Red Stone, Cody was responsible for the development of Red Stone’s corporate strategy, the implementation of its business development initiatives, and the management of all client and investor relationships. He was also Managing Director of Red Stone Tax-Exempt Funding LLC, during which time he raised and managed investor capital in excess of $2 billion across several funds that provided debt capital for new construction and acquisition/rehabilitation developments across the United States.

Cody attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in both Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and Finance & Investment Banking. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.
